Tom Brady has admitted there is some room for improvement from his debut as an in-game analyst for Fox Sports.
Brady took on the role for the first time last weekend as he as Kevin Burkhardt called the Cowboys’ win at the Browns.
The ex-quarterback’s performance was strongly criticized by some fans, and he acknowledged in a new YouTube video that his showing wasn’t perfect.
‘Certainly a lot of fun, definitely some things to clean up,’ he said. ‘So it’s all a learning process.’
Brady was roasted by some fans early into his Fox Sports debut, as there was one awkward turn of phrase where he said, ‘it’s hard to make 10, but really hard to make 20 yards’.

NFL commentator Joe Buck blasts ‘grossly unfair’ Tom Brady criticism
Another fan added, ‘Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady actually say words before dropping $300m on him,’ referencing the 10-year, $375million deal that Fox gave him.
And some even unfavorably compared Brady to fellow TV debutante Jason Kelce, who began his broadcasting role on ESPN’s Monday Night Football pregame show.
One fan claimed that the former Eagles center was ‘1000 times better than Tom Brady on TV.’
However, longtime commentator Joe Buck – who currently does play-by-play for Monday Night Football – came to Brady’s defense.
‘I think it’s absolutely impossible to grade anybody and say somebody is going to be good, not good after one game,’ Buck said on The Michael Kay show, per Sports Illustrated.
‘This is a hard job. We all do our piece of it. You have to be able to settle in, know what you need to know. … It’s grossly unfair that everybody wants to weigh in after five seconds. That’s not the way it works.’

Brady himself seems to be confident that he can continue growing in his new job, as he said he ‘felt like I was doing what I should be doing. It’s going to get better.’
Brady’s next assignment will be when the Saints visit the Cowboys this weekend.
The ex-quarterback posted a picture of his preparation materials for that game, captioned ‘Back to work,’ on his Instagram story.
