Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a deadline deal hours before the team makes its season against the Cleveland Browns.
The veteran quarterback inked a four-year extension worth $240million to stay in Dallas – making him the highest-paid player in NFL history.
Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported that the deal will guarantee Prescott $231m. The deal was confirmed by owner Jerry Jones, his agent Tom France, and his team from Athletes First.
