Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill was handcuffed and detained by police while entering the team’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday morning in astonishing scenes.
Hill, who is set to line up for the Dolphins in their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, was seen being cuffed by police in videos circulating on social media.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has revealed that the player was detained for a driving violation, though his agent still expects him to play in Sunday’s game after being let go by police.
It is believed he was cited for ‘reckless driving’ before being pulled over and getting into an altercation with an officer.
In one clip, cops can be seen pinning Hill to the ground as they put him in cuffs.
